Abhishek Mande of Rediff gave it 0 stars and stated that there is no way you can enjoy this movie and still claim you respect women. Grand Masti took the biggest opening of 2013 in the morning shows on its first day in terms of occupancies. Grand Masti had a very good first day with business around Rs 12 crore nett mark. It was the fourth highest opening day of 2013 after Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Race 2. The film collected around 13 crore adding to the 12.25 crore nett on Friday so taking its total to around Rs 25.25 crore nett
